Now at Apache Junction, AZ and ready to go over the pass to Globe tomorrow: rain and possibly snow is forecast, so may have to shuttle! Last several days have been just beautiful: desert in bloom, lots of cactus and vast scenery: we really live in a great land! The wind has been somewhat daunting, especially on the long rides, but am taking one day at a time! We left Blythe, got to Salome (wide space in the road), then to Wickenburg (lovely place), then to Phoenix (big city), and now in Apache Junction; suspect there will be more small towns than big ones in the next several weeks! Having a ball, think of you often, more later.....

Hey Jan,

I am so impressed. I've become such a wimp, it's windy today so I decided not to ride. Rain and snow?!!! Now I feel embarrassed and think I should just get out there.

Welcome to New Mexico..you should be in Silver City...the weather is supposed to be very nice in the high 60's. How was the ride over the mountain...did you get snow? Hope you are having fun and feeling good and strong. Take care...we are thinking of you and jealous as hell!
